Step 2 - Impregnation & Inversion
The liner is placed on the roller assembly (impregnation line). The resin/hardener mix is then pumped and distributed, or impregnated, into the liner. The impregnated liner is then fed through the calibration rollers to the inversion manhole. Water or air pressure assures proper inversion and traverses the liner through the pipe. The resulting pressure (approximately 0,5 bar or 7.25 psi) presses the liner tight against the existing pipe wall and forces excess epoxy into the pipe's pores and damaged sections, thus maximizing the strength, adhesion and sealing qualities of the liner.
