Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Is the CityLiner System expensive?

A. No. The reasonably priced system has allowed even smaller sized contractors to enter the municipal CIPP market. Additionally, since the CityLiner system does not require a regional wet-out facility, there is no heavy investment in warehousing and machinery.

Q. How is the wet-out process handled?

A. The CityLiner System does not require separate wet-out facilities and temperature-controlled trucks to haul pre-impregnated liners and keep them refrigerated. By bringing the wet-out process into the truck and ultimately on-site, our technology offers superior logistical advantages and keeps overhead to a minimum. Instead of manually mixing chemicals, we have high-tech machines to handle this process. Our process takes place in a closed system, which is cleaner and reduces the potential for hazardous spills or accidents.

Q. Does it work in even hot temperatures?

A. By adjusting the mix between the epoxy resin and hardener, contractors can respond quickly to changing temperatures or time constraints. The epoxy and resin are taken from separate, temperature-controlled tanks through a mass meter to the mixing chamber, guaranteeing exact dosage of resin and hardener.
