CityLiner Inversion Tube & Preliner
Applied Felts helped create the CIPP process, as well as its first liners, more than 30 years ago. Since then, over 60 million linear feet of liners have been proven in successful underground installations around the world. Their fully integrated, end-to-end custom manufacturing process occurs within their own facility, making Applied Felts the only independent liner manufacturer in the U.S. that controls the entire process within one location. The liners have a polyurethane (PU) coating on one side, and the thickness of both the coating and the liner can be adjusted to suit the needs of a particular job site, and are available for the service of pipes ranging from 6" to 32 " in diameter. Applied Felts incorporates a rigorous, 28-test quality control system that makes it the industry's only ISO 9001-2002 certified liner manufacturer.

- A soft end is a hold-back device applied to the end of a liner. It is used to control the rate of inversion once the installation has reached the halfway point, as well as to attach the hold back rope and the recirculating hoses. Each soft end is designed to support the loading the liner will experience during installation and cure.
Preliner
- Available in 6"-42" sizes (standard or heavy duty).
- Clear LLDPE with grid reinforcement.
- Used to protect the liner from resin washout in areas with heavy groundwater infiltration; also used to capture test samples and reinforce the downstream end of liners on a steep slope CityLiner® Inversion Tube.
